La cinquième saison de Choses étranges ce sera aussi le dernier. La fin de l'histoire était attendue par les fans, mais elle a fini par être retardée en raison de la grève des écrivains et acteurs hollywoodiens. Désormais, le travail est revenu à la normale et Netflix lui-même a confirmé que la production de la prochaine saison de la série avait déjà commencé.

Confirmation que la 5ème saison de Choses étranges est en production a été annoncé par Netflix dans un post sur le réseau social X (anciennement Twitter). Pour célébrer le début des travaux, la plateforme a également publié, ce lundi (8), une image du casting principal aux côtés des Duffer Brothers, créateurs de la série.

Avec quatre saisons, Choses étranges est l'un des plus gros succès de Netflix. Après le lancement de la dernière saison, fin 2022, la série a battu des records d’audience, qui se sont maintenus encore deux mois après sa première.

Selon Netflix, la cinquième et dernière saison de la série Le tournage débute en janvier 2024.
La dernière saison comptera 8 épisodes.
Cependant, la date de sortie de la dernière partie de l’intrigue n’a pas encore été confirmée.
Cela n’arrivera probablement qu’en 2025.
Parlant de ce à quoi les fans peuvent s’attendre, la plateforme a noté qu’il s’agit d’une fusion des première et quatrième saisons.
« La saison 5, c’est comme si la saison 1 et la saison 4 avaient un bébé. Et puis ce bébé a reçu une injection de stéroïdes », a déclaré Netflix.
Selon des informations précédentes, Will Byers jouera un rôle extrêmement important dans la conclusion de l'histoire.
Les quatre premières saisons de la série sont disponibles dans le catalogue Netflix.
